Crimson Desert: How to Make Silver Fast (Silver Farming Guide)
10 proven ways to farm Silver fast in Crimson Desert — from a free 190-Silver Gold Bar in your first hour to passive bank investments and Golden Apple loops.

Quick overview
- Silver is tight all game — gear, food, camp upgrades, investments all pull from the same pot.
- Currency basics: 100 Copper = 1 Silver. Gold Bars = 500 Silver at any Bank, only 190 Silver if you sell to a regular merchant.
- Always exchange Gold Bars at a Bank, never a vendor. That alone is a 2.6× multiplier on every gold bar you earn.
- These 10 methods stack — combine 2-3 per session and you'll never feel broke again.
1. Steal the Lioncrest Manor Gold Bar (free 190+ silver in 2 minutes)
- Fastest early-game silver injection — doable in your first hour after the prologue.
- Buy a Mask (10 copper) and a Key (30 copper) from Grimrack at the Back Alley Shop, southeast of the cathedral.
- Head to Lioncrest Manor in the north of Hernand. Climb the right-side wall and crawl through an open window.
- Downstairs, turn off the fireplace, put the mask on, and steal the hidden Gold Bar.
- Escape the red search area before guards spot you. Sell the bar at any Bank for 500 silver (or merchant for 190 silver as a fallback).

2. Rob the Hernand Bank (~50 silver per chest room)
- Bank is west of the Hernand inn — same Mask + Key combo from Grimrack works here.
- Enter, head to the room on the left, equip the mask, and open every chest. Each room ~50 silver.
- Other lootable objects in the room aren't flagged 'stolen' — sell freely to any vendor.
- Costs 5 EXP off your Hernandian Contribution Level per stolen item — minor unless you need vendor reputation.
- Repeats over time as the bank's loot resets every few in-game days.

3. Card games — Duo and Five-Card gambling
- Fastest repeatable silver in the early game once you know the rhythm.
- Duo: low-stakes, available in Hernand. Five-Card: higher stakes, found in northern settlements.
- Save-scum trick: manual save before joining, go all-in on the first draw, save again if you win, reload if you lose.
- AI opponents bluff aggressively — they often call your all-ins regardless of their hand.
- Avoid heavy save-scumming if you want the game to feel earned — even straight play nets you a profit over time.
4. Fundamentalist Goblins — Crude Devil Masks
- Sunrise Plains, south of Greymane Camp in Howling Hills — bands of Fundamentalist Goblins roam here.
- Each goblin has ~25% chance to drop a Crude Devil Mask, sells for 13.71 silver to any merchant.
- Ride your horse around to find groups quickly. 10 minutes of farming = inventory full of masks.
- Goblins respawn after ~2 in-game days — skip time at a bonfire to reset the field.
- Stack with Coin Purse drops from Blood Bandits on nearby roads (Coin Purses are also great for NPC Trust).
5. Bandit looting — Fort Perwin and Hernand roads
- Blood Bandits patrol the roads outside Hernand and camps in the surrounding area.
- They drop Masks (sell at merchants) and Coin Purses (instant silver from your inventory menu).
- Fort Perwin has the densest enemy clusters — single session can yield dozens of masks.
- Get a pet (e.g. Fang) for auto-loot speed — cuts farming time roughly in half.
- This stacks with everything you do naturally — bandits drop while you ride between bounties and quests.
6. Bounties — purple page markers
- Bounty boards in town squares show wanted outlaws as purple page icons on the minimap.
- Track the target, take them out (or capture alive when specified), return to the constable for the reward.
- Each bounty pays ~10 silver and takes 10-20 minutes — perfect filler between main quests.
- Stack bounties with Hernand Commissions in the same area — chain rewards on one ride.
- Loot the bounty target's body for extra masks, coin purses, and crafting materials.
7. Mining — Scolecite, Azurite, Diamonds in Crimson Desert region
- The whole map is open from the start — ride to Crimson Desert region (north-east) for the best ore.
- Scolecite deposits along the road to Varnia: ~6 crystals per spot, 1.03 silver each = ~6 silver per node.
- Azurite deposits nearby: 0.95 silver each, ~6 silver per node. Combine routes for ~60 silver per loop.
- Diamonds (deep in caves): 2.28 silver each, 6-8 per deposit. Slower respawn but high value.
- Slow respawn (in-game weeks) — activate fast travel points so you can come back later without the long ride.

8. Bank investments — passive Strongbox income
- Open an account at any Bank for 100 silver — the account works at every bank in Pywel.
- Three risk tiers: Low (0% to +2%), Medium (-15% to +20%), High (-50% to +55%).
- Recommendation: stick to Medium Risk early. Low yields nothing, High can wipe you on a bad first roll.
- Invest Gold Bars instead of leaving them in inventory — every cycle compounds.
- Find the alchemy recipe for Gold Bars on the top floor of Spire of Insight to craft them indefinitely.
9. Trade Goods + Wagon — mid-game compounding income
- Highest mid-game ceiling — runs almost passively once set up.
- Unlock the Wagon Workshop at Greymane Camp (requires Camp Lv. 2 + completing the Brice quest chain).
- Pick up Trade Goods from enemies, camp resources, and Trading Posts as you explore.
- Have Carl (Provisions Keeper) at your camp package them for 100 copper each.
- Drive the loaded wagon to a Trading Post or Goldleaf Guildhouse — sells far above Black Market prices.
- Always sell outside your starting region. On the return trip, buy local goods and sell them elsewhere — pure arbitrage.
10. Golden Apple → Gold Bar loop (500 silver each)
- Golden Apples don't sell — but you craft them into Gold Bars worth 500 silver at any Bank.
- Hedgehogs at Grey Rock Dock (north-west of Demeniss) carry them — look for the glimmering light on their back.
- Shoot the hedgehog with your bow to knock the apple loose, then equip your Mask before picking it up to avoid a bounty.
- Recipe (1 Golden Apple + 3 Gold Ore = 1 Gold Bar) is unlocked at the Witch's Hideout south of Pailune.
- Best spawn window: 4 PM to midnight in-game. Clear nearby Strongholds first to farm uninterrupted.
- Stock Gold Ore from Anvil Hill mine in southwest Demeniss before each run — don't waste apples waiting for ore.
