Walkthrough

1. 1Accept Crossroads of Succession from the Pailune Militia chain.
2. 2Assault Steinnfell Fortress and defeat the Black Bear Captain.
3. 3Clear gate, barracks, and Torvak camp to secure Steinnfell.
4. 4Speak with the Pailunese Refugee in the fortress interior.
5. 5Hunt the White Bear of the High Mountain when prompted.
6. 6Advance to Fort Askelund and clear enemies at the gate.
7. 7Defeat foes at House Byron's secluded property and secure refugees.
8. 8Report to Clemens to conclude the succession operation.

Tips

• Complete each liberation zone fully before moving to next.
• Mount travel shortens backtracking between fortress objectives.
• Save burst skills for captains and named elite targets.
• Stock healing items; this chain has many consecutive battles.
• Check map markers often; several objectives unlock in sequence.
