Walkthrough
- 1Fast travel to Hernand and go to the castle courtyard near the church entrance
- 2Speak with the soldiers to learn that 'Ghosts' have infiltrated the castle
- 3Head inside Hernand Castle main building and go up the main staircase
- 4On the second floor, turn left and enter the wooden door
- 5Locate the yellow Abyss Gate and interact with it to open the portal
- 6You'll be teleported to the Abyss sky map — spawn in a designated area
- 7Head straight forward toward the tall tower building (Axiom Archive)
- 8Defeat the enemies that appear during your approach
- 9Watch the cutscene that confirms Crowcaller's involvement and progresses the story
Tips
- This is a short quest primarily involving navigation and story progression
- The Abyss Gate on the second floor doesn't always respond immediately — try standing in different spots
- The enemies before the Axiom Archive are stronger than typical encounters — come prepared
- This quest bridges The Missing Seal and the main Black and White questline
- Bring healing items — the enemy encounter before the Archive can be challenging
