Walkthrough

1. 1Head to quest marker north of Gorthak to trigger cutscene
2. 2Enter boss fight against Marni's Clockwork Mantis (mechanical praying mantis)
3. 3Dodge melee combo attacks to position yourself behind the boss
4. 4Use heavy attacks with Tauria Curved Sword, especially Nature's Echo skill
5. 5When boss shoots yellow lasers, dodge in wide circular arcs around it
6. 6Parrying works but dodging is safer — prioritize evasion over blocking
7. 7Defeat the boss to finish the quest and Chapter 10

Tips

• This boss has only 1 health bar — one of the easier late-game fights
• Yellow laser attacks are the primary threat — they deal massive damage
• Position yourself behind the boss as much as possible for safe damage windows
• Use Nature's Echo skill for consistent heavy damage output
• Stay mobile and dodge instead of blocking — parrying isn't reliable
