Walkthrough
- 1Begin The Broken Trail by visiting Hernand Farmhouse and speaking with Williem's Lieutenant
- 2Travel to Ivynook and ask Wandering Freeswords where to find Williem
- 3Head northwest from Ivynook following marker to Icemoor Castle Ruins
- 4Search the castle entrance for Williem under the pile of corpses
- 5Find the first Stone Lantern and light it to trigger a cutscene
- 6Locate the second Stone Lantern and light it to advance time
- 7Proceed to castle center where Saigord the Staglord awaits you
- 8Enter boss arena and prepare for King of the Fallen Kingdom fight
- 9Saigord uses heavy red glint attacks — dodge and dash frequently
- 10Use Turning Slash attacks for steady damage output
- 11Use Force Palm ability when he leaves openings to stagger him
- 12Defeat Saigord to complete the quest
- 13Return to claim rewards: Staglord's Shield and Abyss Artifact
Tips
- Saigord uses powerful red glint attacks — dodge frequently instead of blocking
- This is a boss fight — prepare ice-resistant armor and food beforehand
- Use Turning Slash for consistent damage when you have openings
- Force Palm stagger ability creates windows for your stronger attacks
- Stay mobile and avoid getting cornered at castle perimeter
- The boss fight takes place in morning at castle center — two lanterns must be lit
