Walkthrough
- 1Move forward and learn basic platforming mechanics: running, jumping, wall-climbing, and crouching
- 2Tap the sprint button to build momentum, then jump to cross gaps
- 3don't hold sprint then jump simultaneously
- 4Approach the locked door after the crouching tutorial area
- 5Activate Blinding Flash by holding L1+R1/LB+RB, aim at the light device above the door
- 6While still holding R1/RB, press L1/LB again to concentrate light on the device
- 7Keep holding until the device activates and the door opens
- 8Cross the three moving platforms beyond the opened door
- 9Enter the dark tunnel and equip Lantern from the radial menu to light your path
- 10Follow the single path to the light at the tunnel's end and trigger the final cutscene
Tips
- This is a tutorial quest with no combat — focus on learning the mechanics without time pressure
- Sprint-jump is critical: tap sprint (don't hold), then press jump to cross gaps cleanly
- Blinding Flash controls feel counterintuitive at first — practice on the first light device
- Use Lantern immediately when entering dark areas or you'll lose visibility
- No environmental damage hazards in this quest — take your time practicing each platform section
- The skill you learn (Blinding Flash) is permanent and essential for the full game
