Walkthrough
- 1Open your inventory and read the Unsealed Letter key item
- 2Open your Journal and navigate to Faction Quests > Witches (Hernand section)
- 3Track the 'Witch of Wisdom' quest — the map marker appears east of Scholarship Institute
- 4Fast travel to Scholarship Institute and skydive to the marked location
- 5Defeat enemies guarding the witch's hut in the Witchwood
- 6Climb through the open roof window and untie the bound witch (Elowen)
- 7Check the nearby table for an Abyss Artifact before leaving
- 8Travel north to the Witch's House in The Witchwoods
- 9Speak with Elowen and select 'Listen to Request' to complete the quest
Tips
- This quest requires a faction quest from the Witches — activate it via the Journal
- The location doesn't appear on the map automatically — use the Journal tracking feature
- Elowen becomes a valuable NPC vendor after this quest — she sells Abyss Cores
- Pick up the Abyss Artifact from the table — it's useful for socket upgrades
- No major combat required — focus on navigation and reading the letter
- Fast travel to Scholarship Institute first — saves time getting to Witchwood
- This quest is mandatory to progress the Black and White questline
