- •The most important progression currency in Crimson Desert — replaces traditional leveling entirely
- •Unlock new skills: every ability in your Skill Tree requires Abyss Artifacts to activate or rank up
- •Equipment refinement: refine gear to +5 and higher using Abyss Artifacts as crafting material
- •Stat enhancement: boost Health, Stamina, and Spirit stats beyond soft caps via Skills menu
- •Three types exist: regular (instant unlock), Sealed (complete challenge to unlock), and Faded (respec only)
- •Available from early-game quests, puzzles, exploration, and vendor purchases with Silver
Gathering Guide
- •Level your Abyss Artifact XP bar (lower left mini-map) for unlimited progression — one artifact per level-up
- •Farm elite Totems in Blockaded areas during Chapter 3 before defeating Reed Devil — unlimited spawns
- •Complete Exploration Challenges (marked with ? on maps) for artifact rewards
- •Complete Mastery Challenges — use specific weapons against certain enemy types
- •Collect Sealed Abyss Artifacts from enemy drops — complete associated Challenge to unlock
